What I Like About APC:
On Sunday mornings I find myself repeating the words of Psalm 122:1 (in the King James Version of my youth), 'I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.' The classes led by the pastor, the Wednesday Bible study and the many ministries in which this church is involved have continued to strengthen my faith in God, His beloved Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. How blessed and thankful I am to have them ever-present in my life! ~ Lorraine V. Fells
We love Ashburn Presbyterian! It's such a warm, welcoming community. It's a great balance for a church - not too formal and stuffy but not too much of a show. Pastor Robert is great and really engages and knows the congregation. I like the mix of newer songs with familiar hymns. I hope more families with young kids come to APC! ~ Allison Brennan
Why do I enjoy APC? Hands down it's the people. This congregation, the people that go here, are the most nurturing, encouraging, and loving group of people around. It is a place you want to raise your kids, where they can learn, grow up, and where they can build a relationship with Jesus. You truly matter here and that's why I love Ashburn Presbyterian Church ~ Melissa Hassinger
I can't speak to their church services... but the outreach I've seen is amazing. "Walk through Bethlehem [One Starry Night]" felt like an immersive experience with little things for, and to do with, the kids. I felt like I got a glimpse into what Bethlehem (and other cities in Judah) could of been like. I've never seen or heard of anything like it. Well done. ~ Graham Edwards, local guide
On that first visit, [we] were greeted warmly by many of the worshipers and we knew that we would return. The pastor’s sermon, the children’s message, the music, all spoke to us and I found myself saying a “thank You” prayer to God and the Holy Spirit who knew our needs. We have come to know many of the members and have felt warmly embraced by their love. ~ Lorraine V. Fells
Full of genuine people who care for each other and work to share Christ's love with the surrounding community, this church is a great place to grow in faith and get to know our God better. Small congregation, but big love. ~ Ruth Rockenbaugh

Our church is located at 20962 Ashburn Road in Ashburn, Virginia.

At APC you will see a wide variety of people, dressed in a variety of ways. We encourage you to come as you are! From shorts and jeans to suits and dresses you'll feel comfortable amongst our congregation. Wear what works for you!
Absolutely not! We welcome anyone, anywhere on their journey to finding and growing a relationship with Christ.
If you're looking to speak with Pastor Robert about becoming a Christian please don't hesitate to send him a message.
Nothing at all! We provide Bibles for use in the pews, should you want to follow along during the scripture reading. Typically all verses are displayed on the screen in the front of the sanctuary. Just bring yourself, your family and friends, and an open heart.
Yes! Your children will start out by joining you in the sanctuary. Early in the service they will be invited down front for the Children's Message (typically for a lesson, five minutes in length).
After the Children's Message, those that are 3 years of age up to grade 5 will be dismissed to Children's Church which takes place in our classrooms upstairs. A Sunday school teacher will meet them in the back of the sanctuary and lead them upstairs where you will pick them up after the service.
We have a nursery available for children up to 3 years of age, The nursery is full of toys, rocking chairs, and a changing table available for use during every service. We have both an adult and a teen volunteer in the nursery each Sunday to watch over your precious child while you attend the church service.
There are many opportunities to participate at APC. Whether you are looking to help out in a discrete manner - such as for a particular event - or to serve in an ongoing capacity like singing in the choir or worship team we'd love to find something that interests you.
Giving of your time and talents is another way to deepen your connection with our church family. Feel free to look through the website to see what we offer or reach out to us with your interests.
Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month. Those who desire to follow Christ or have already accepted the Lord as their personal Savior are welcome to participate. We each select an individual cup of juice signifying Jesus's blood poured out for many and a piece of bread signifying Jesus's body. (Matthew 26:26-28)
