If you were around last week or in church on Sunday, you got to experience Stellar VBS. Once again, the Word of God came alive for the children and volunteers!
I've been doing VBS at APC for 18 years. Every year I say, “This is the best year," until the next year. God has certainly blessed APC with so much talent! To watch the volunteers share their talent and time is heartwarming. It's especially heartwarming to see those who were once participants now become volunteers! We must be doing something right for God!
The theme this year was “Shine Jesus' Light.” We were told to shine His light when we're scared or need to live in harmony, when offering thankfulness, or when we are sad or need to help others. Throughout the week, I saw all of these points put into action by both the children and volunteers.
I want to take this opportunity to say “THANK YOU” to all who helped in one way or another to make Stellar VBS such a success for Shining Jesus' Light. Hopefully after everyone has decompressed, they'll be looking forward to SCUBA! VBS June 18th - 22nd 2024. See you then!
