The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan's Purse partners with the local churches worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Operation Christmas Child is a longstanding ministry within APC. And what fun we have with this mission! From a packing party to our “box parade”, we find lots of joy in spreading God’s word worldwide and giving to those in need.

OCC Events at APC!

PACKING PARTY

Join us for the most wonderful, fabulous OCC packing party which will take place on November 8, 2026 after church in Pickell Hall. Come celebrate God and pack a box…be part of spreading God’s word worldwide! Pizza, candy, & soda, will be served. 

Remember God and Giving - Two great things that go great together!!!

CHURCH DEDICATION

Bring your boxes to church on November 15, 2026 where we will pray for the boxes and the children who will receive them!

BUILD A SHOEBOX ONLINE

We invite everyone to help us reach our goal of 20 online shoeboxes by November 23, 2026.

 

The cost is $30.

In preparation for the Packing Party in November 2026...

If we all bring 1-2 of the following items each month, we can all come together in early November for a "Packing Party!" It also allows us to be on the lookout for sales throughout the year. There will be a box in the narthex each month for donations.
